A Look Back at an Incredible School Year
As we approach the end of the school year, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on all that God has done in and through our Revival Homeschool community this year. It has truly been a year of growth, service, and joyful connection!
Through your generosity and the Lord’s provision, we were able to bless families in need with $3,000 in tuition and enrollment support. What a beautiful reflection of the body of Christ caring for one another!
Our Co-Op Days have been rich with learning and purpose. We studied the lives of famous missionaries and helped our students discover the joy of serving others, just as Jesus modeled for us. These lessons weren’t only theoretical; they came to life through our all-school service projects:
- In November, we served our local military community with a pancake breakfast, and our youngest students created special artwork to bless the seniors at Revival.
- In February, students served one another with a special meal and spent time reading together across grade levels, building bonds of kindness and care.
- On May 13th, our students will close the year by serving the staff of Revival Christian Fellowship and preparing care packages for Mexico—a final act of love that reaches beyond our own community.
We’ve also enjoyed some incredible field trips this year, including fun adventures to In-N-Out Burger and Angel Stadium, which have brought our students together in joyful, memory-making ways.
This year also marked the launch of our very first Associated Student Body (ASB)! These students have stepped up in amazing ways to lead and serve their peers, and through their efforts, they raised over $3,500 toward their end-of-year trip to Universal Studios. We’re so proud of their initiative and teamwork!
Our newly formed Yearbook class has also made history—creating our very first student-produced yearbook, complete with a student-designed cover! Even more impressively, they took all of our school photos for the year. What a gift!
We also launched Mom’s Fellowship Night—a special time for homeschool moms to gather, enjoy a meal, share in an activity, and be refreshed in community. These evenings have been such a sweet addition to our ministry.
In an effort to better serve families and respect your time, we also streamlined our Parent Meetings to just five focused gatherings this year. This makes space for more meaningful, relevant connections while delivering key information clearly and efficiently.
Finally, we were honored to represent private homeschoolers at Capitol Day in Sacramento. Revival Homeschool staff visited all 120 offices of California’s senators and assemblymembers to advocate for homeschool freedom and share valuable information about private home education.
As we wrap up this season, I am filled with gratitude for the families, students, and staff who have made this year so special. Thank you for being a part of what God is doing in and through Revival Homeschool. We can’t wait to see what He has in store for next year!
With joy and gratitude,
Michelle Becerra
